U.S. Government Resources

Travel.State.Gov – International Travel
A comprehensive website with information about your destination country as well as general safety and security information. The site includes a downloadable Traveler’s Checklist PDF card, and information about applying for U.S. passports and visas for non-U.S. citizens to enter the U.S. (Go here to report a lost or stolen U.S. passport.)

U.S. Customs and Border Protection Department (CBP)
U.S. Customs and Border Protection is one of the world’s largest law enforcement organizations and is charged with keeping terrorists and their weapons out of the U.S. while facilitating lawful international travel and trade.

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
CDC works 24/7 to protect America from health, safety and security threats, both foreign and in the U.S.

United States Department of Agriculture – Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service
The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service is a multi-faceted Agency with a broad mission area that supports the overall mission of USDA, which is to protect and promote food, agriculture, natural resources and related issues.
