• Your Family Health and Medical Record
  Knowing the details of your family’s health information can come in handy in the event of an emergency. Click on the top right link: “Download printable booklet: Family Health and Medical Record.” Print out this 18-page form and fill in the necessary information. Make several copies: keep one at work, at school, and a few at home. Print extra copies of pages 7-12 if you have more than one child. Be sure to update the information regularly. The Texas Cooperative Extension is an educational organization provided by the U.S. government, the state government through Texas A&M University, and your county government.

  BHSI provides great info on helmet safety, buying helmets and state helmet laws. The Bicycle Helmet Safety Institute (BHSI) is a nonprofit consumer- funded program acting as a clearinghouse and a technical resource for bicycle helmet information.

• Kids Health
  An article on kids’ bike safety. Learn about the rules of the road, helmets, biking tips and hand signals. KidsHealth is the largest and most visited site on the Web providing doctor-approved health information about children from before birth through adolescence.

• National Association of Insurance Commissioners
  Read consumer publications, alerts, company and general insurance information. Click here for a link to insurance departments by state. The National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) is the organization of insurance regulators from the 50 states, the District of Columbia and the four U.S. territories.
• Pedestrian and Bicycle Information Center
  Click on ‘Bicycle Crashes’ or ‘Education & Enforcement’ to learn more about bicycle accidents, safety and prevention. The Pedestrian and Bicycle Information Center (PBIC) is a clearinghouse for information about health and safety, engineering, advocacy, education, enforcement and access and mobility.
